The Legend Begins...
Centuries ago,
after being banished from their home and sent to the confines of Hell, each of the Deadly Sins, also known as the Seven Princes of Hell, wanted to exact revenge. They worked together, banding together like brothers to strike against Heaven once the time was right. Together, they came up with a plan; they would create a hybrid race of humans and demons mixed together, and they decided to call them Special Children.
Each of the Sins chose a person from the planet, and they put their flesh and blood into those seven humans of their choosing. Their demonic power and blood mixed with that of the human’s, and therefore created the first Hybrid. The Sins would lie in wait, watching the Hybrids grow old and die, waiting for the right Hybrid to come along. The Hybrids created lives, families, heritages; though only one person per generation could call themselves a Hybrid, although they were unaware of what abilities lay dormant within them.
The Sins waited for the right Hybrid in the lineage to come along; they would test each Hybrid they considered worthy, making sure they were the ones they wanted to Rise, to resurrect from the dead and join the army of their Special Children—the ones that were worthy to awaken the dormant demonic energies within them and prepare to take on Heaven.
Once the chosen Hybrid had died, the Sin would collect the body and take it to Hell where the ritual to resurrect the Hybrid would take place. During the ritual, the Hybrid that was soon to become a Child was branded with the Sin's Sigil. The Sin would do so by placing one hand on the Hybrid's head and one on his or her heart. After chanting the demonic text that would revive the Hybrid, the Sigil of the Sin appears somewhere on the Hybrid's body. Once on the body, the Sigil is called a Mark. The Mark glows bright red at first, then cools to form thick, black lines. After being Marked, the Hybrid is offically claimed as the Sin's Child.
They then put the Child into baptizing waters, where the Child's heart would begin to beat again, only this time they would come back stronger with all sorts of powers. The Child would also find that he or she would do the Sin's bidding without any contradictions. One by one each Sin selected a Hybrid that they wanted as their Child. Once chosen, the Sin's plan to teach the Children how to fight and begin their war against Heaven.
